Chingri Malai Curry Recipe
Ingredients
- Prawn 500 gm
- Mustard oil 70 ml
- Cumin 1 Tsp
- Cumin Pwd. 1 Tsp
- Green chilly 4-6 No’s
- Ginger 1 Inch
- Red chili powder 1 Tsp
- Turmeric 1 Tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut 1 ½ No
- Ghee 2 Tbsp
- Garam Masala Pwd. 1 Tsp
Pre-preparations:
- Clean and devein prawns. Prepare coconut milk.
- Grind ginger. Slit green chilies.
Preparations:
- Heat mustard oil and add cumin seed.
- Add ginger paste, cumin pwd., red chili powder, turmeric powder and sauté.
- Add prawns and slit green chilies, cook for some time.
- Add thick coconut milk and simmer for few minutes till prawns are cooked.
- Add pure ghee and garam masala powder and mix. Serve hot.
