Ingredients
- White pomfret 500 Gm
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Ginger 1 inch
- Garlic 4-6 cloves
- Madras onions 2-3 No
- Coconut oil 50 ml
- Kokum 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves 4-8 No
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 2 tbsp

Preparation:-
- Clean and cut fish on-the-bone appx. 1 inch thick pieces. Wash and marinade in salt, turmeric.
- Soak kokum in water. Slice madras onions. Cut ginger & garlic into juliennes.
- Heat coconut oil , add mustard seeds & curry leaves.
- Add madras onions, ginger & garlic. Sauté.
- Add red chili powder and coriander powder. Fry well.
- Add 50ml water and boil. Add kokum pulp and adjust salt.
- Add fish; simmer for 5-10 minutes. Serve hot.
