Chicken Cafreal Recipe

Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 Kgs
  • Onions 100 Gms
  • Coconut 1 kg
  • Green chilies 7-8 no.
  • Green coriander 1 Bunch
  • Mint leaves 1 Bunch
  • Jeera 1 Tsp
  • Peppercorns 1 Tsp
  • Garlic 8-10 Cloves
  • Turmeric 1 Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 100 ml

Preparations:-

  • Wash & cut chicken into 8 pieces. Apply salt & turmeric. Keep aside.
  • Prepare coconut milk.
  • Chop onions, green chilies, green coriander, mint leaves.
  • Heat about 100 ml of oil, sauté onions.
  • Grind together onions, green chilies, green coriander, mint leaves, jeera , peppercorns & garlic
  • Apply prepared paste to the chicken pieces. Keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Heat oil, sear chicken on a slow flame. Cook until chicken is half done.
  • Add coconut milk, cook until chicken is tender & coconut milk has evaporated.
  • Serve hot.
