Ingredients
- Chicken 1 Kgs
- Onions 100 Gms
- Coconut 1 kg
- Green chilies 7-8 no.
- Green coriander 1 Bunch
- Mint leaves 1 Bunch
- Jeera 1 Tsp
- Peppercorns 1 Tsp
- Garlic 8-10 Cloves
- Turmeric 1 Tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 100 ml
Preparations:-
- Wash & cut chicken into 8 pieces. Apply salt & turmeric. Keep aside.
- Prepare coconut milk.
- Chop onions, green chilies, green coriander, mint leaves.
- Heat about 100 ml of oil, sauté onions.
- Grind together onions, green chilies, green coriander, mint leaves, jeera , peppercorns & garlic
- Apply prepared paste to the chicken pieces. Keep aside for 1 hour.
- Heat oil, sear chicken on a slow flame. Cook until chicken is half done.
- Add coconut milk, cook until chicken is tender & coconut milk has evaporated.
- Serve hot.
